Goleta Beach: Begin your ride at one of Goleta’s most iconic spots, where you can breathe in the fresh ocean air and take in stunning views of the pier as you gear up for the journey ahead. When you’re ready, follow the scenic bike path up into UCSB. If it’s your first time exploring the campus, getting a little lost is part of the adventure!

Fun Side Trip: Make a stop at Campus Point, a favorite local surf spot. Watch the waves roll in and enjoy some top-notch people-watching before continuing your ride.

Follow the bike path until you reach Storke Road, then head toward Cathedral Oaks. Along the way, you’ll pass a variety of shops and restaurants—perfect spots to take a break, grab a bite, or simply stretch your legs before continuing your ride.

Tasty Treat: Finney’s Crafthouse – Goleta – known for its wide selection of craft beers on tap and a delicious menu that’s sure to keep you fueled for the miles ahead.

After turning onto Cathedral Oaks, you’ll connect to the Maria Ygnacio Bike Path, which winds through quiet neighborhoods and follows the scenic creek of the same name. Along the way, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. This trail seamlessly links to the Obern Trail, a favorite among locals, which will ultimately guide you back to Goleta Beach.
